I’ve been journeying in nonphysical reality long enough to trust my experiences there nearly as confidently as I do in normal waking physical reality. Nonetheless, it’s great when someone else independently gets comparable information. This is what happened when my friend Basil posed the same question that I did about the nature of time in alternate reality. Below is the text of the message he received.
It is very difficult to explain how earthly aspects relate to non-time zones. The biggest problem lies in the languages of earth – so many, many words relate to time. Even the simple word "was" relates
to time. To show you what I mean I will ask Basil to place a star against every word that has a time meaning.
I have* mentioned that time is* an earthly illusion. David Copperfield, when he causes* the Statue of Liberty to disappear uses illusion. You know very well that the statue is still there* but you cannot see it. That is an illusion.
As a resident* of a non-time zone I know that the illusion of time exists* on earth (and elsewhere) and I know that the residents* of earth live* by time. However, to me, earthly time is* still* an illusion.
I have stated that I reside* in a non-time zone, but do you see that even that statement is* time related because in this sense the word reside* means "at present*’ – at present* I reside* in a non-time zone. But I may well move* (at a later* date*) to a different zone.
Thus, even though I live* in a non-time zone, earthly time still affects* me. My soul is* no different than your soul – agreed, we are* different in uniqueness, but our essence comes* from the same source. Our souls carry such attributes as our personalities and what you on earth call our memories*. Change that word memory* to experience you have essentially the same meaning. If you place* your hand on a hot stove you know that if you do so again* you will* burn* your hand … you can call that a memory* if you wish, but it is* really an experience*.
Thus, when* you ask how* I experience* learning* and personal growth* without the concept of time, I do so through* the experience*. I have* told you that I have* been* on Rod-don-do [a planet on a frequency beyond the physical realm] for some* 3300 earth years*. While I lived* that time in the present* my soul still* carries* the effects* of those experiences* and I learned* and grew* by having* them. Those* experiences* are* now* part of my soul and so I know that if I visit* earth again* I will* re-experience* time.
The lack of time has* nothing to do with learning* or personal growth* because by* experiencing* the present* I am both learning* and growing*. What you call my past*
Is* my present*, and what you call my future* is* still* my present*. My past* is* now* and my future* is* now*. I practice new* behaviors* (experiences*) or reinforce old* behaviors* (experiences*) now. I aspire* for something better now*.
I hope that by placing these stars by some of the time related words that I have not offended you. But I wanted to show you how difficult it is to explain no-time when so many earth words are time related … especially when you consider the past, present, and future tense of some words.
Has this helped?
