From our perspective here on Earth, time is an essential aspect of our experiential learning. We divide time into three categories: the past, the present, the future. We begin in the present moment where we have an experience. Then that moment passes and we draw lessons from it afterward. We then apply that knowledge to the next moment as we endeavor to improve upon it. So we learn from the past by applying its lessons in the present. And we aspire to do better in the future.
Today I journeyed to a far higher level of consciousness (F35) to understand how "time" is perceived in the spirit realm where our concepts of space-time do not apply. The question I asked was: How is it that you (non-physical beings) learn if you are in a state of no time?
The answer I received is below.
We learn by experiencing the now. We continually experience the now and thus we learn. I now that seems an oxymoron – continually experience now – but that is the best that I can express it in your language.
Experience is a constant unfolding of nows. But time as you know it is an illusion. Thus I am experiencing my past, present and future simultaneously. All of it is in the now. I have already experienced all that I will experience. Thus time is a tool for drawing the lessons from the experience. But it is only a tool.
You may use a hammer to build a house. You may find it fundamental to the construction process. But it is only a tool. So it is with learning. We learn by experiencing the now. We may use time to do so or we may not. You know for yourself that you can manifest a house or any other thing that you desire with a single thought. You have done so numerous times in nonphysical reality. It takes no time at all to bring something into being. You think it and it is so.
So we play with time when we choose to. And we set it aside when we are done. That is what you are doing on Earth. You are playing with time. You have chosen a time-based experience for your learning process. And it is a very effective learning process at that.
However, many beings including myself find it grueling. That is why you have a relatively short existence in physical form. You learn and then you return to no time, which is a more comfortable state of existence since it is closer to your true nature.
